Meet The Team

Chef Henry Hampshire

Henry Hampshire started his career when he was 16 and worked in an Italian bakery whilst studying for his A-levels before he then became a chef in London's first vegan pasta restaurant. Within 3 months as a commis chef, Henry had worked his way up the ranks to sous chef before going on to become Head Chef at the age of 18.


Henry was studying under Chef Day Radley who is the founder of The Vegan Chef School of Excellence as well as an international chef who has been an executive chef in many restaurants across 3 continents.


With Henry's extra training, he became Restaurant Manager of Raveoli - London's first Vegan Pasta Restaurant within a year of working there and still being just 18.


At this point, Henry wanted to move on and create his own venture in the break of the pandemic. Henry catered vegan weddings and events as a private vegan caterer. Since then Chef Hampshire has hosted many sell-out vegan supper club events as well as continuing to cater weddings, parties and many more events.

Henry has also released his own products during the pandemic, The Chef Hampshire DIY Vegan Cheese Kit

and a trio of Italian Pasta Sauces.


Henry started his own vegan street food company in June 2021 selling gourmet vegan pasta boxes in markets across Surrey, London and surrounding areas before going on to buy The Garden Wagon where he took The Pasta Garden across the country and to the countries biggest music festivals such as Reading Festival 2022 serving over 2000 pasta boxes in 3 days.

Through the winter of 2022 Chef Hampshire ran his own delivery restaurant in Aldgate, London running 5 street food brands on Deliveroo, Uber Eats & Just Eat serving to the vegan masses in Central London whilst still catering for large events, festivals & weddings. This is where Henry started The Garden Restaurants LTD, expanding his street food catering for festivals.

Now, Chef Henry Hampshire has been nominated as Vegan Chef of the Year and is one of the top Vegan Wedding caterers in the south of England as well as running The Garden Restaurants where he can be found selling from his extensive vegan street food menu at many festivals across the UK.
