What we do?
If you have any events and need a vegan catering team we offer it all.
Chef Hampshire will accommodate any menu you would like as well as offering a selection of set menus to chose from.
We want to make the food perfect for you and your event.
To help aid you in this we will arrange a call with Chef Hampshire to talk about different menus & meals prior to booking so you can ask for your ideal meals & you don't have to worry about anything.
Chef Hampshire will come to your venue with everything prepared. All you need to do is enjoy the food and your event with no need to stress about the kitchen.
No one wants to be stressed out on their wedding day or birthday so we will take care of as much as we can to let you relax and enjoy your time.
Including offering waitress services & events management if you want to leave absolutely everything to us.
With Kaitlin Dowdswell being our head of events she can arrange everything to make your special day as amazing as possible.
Meet the team
Chef Henry Hampshire is a vegan chef & entrepreneur who has been manager & head chef in a London restaurant and hosted many sell-out vegan supper clubs.
Henry Hampshire started his career when he was 16 and worked in a bakery whilst studying for his a-levels before he then became a chef in Londons first vegan pasta restaurant. Within 3 months as a commis chef Henry had worked his way up the ranks to sous chef before becoming Head Chef at the age of 18.
Henry was studying under Chef Day Radley who is the founder of The Vegan Chef School of Excellence as well as being an international chef who has been executive chef in many restaurants across 3 continents.
With Henrys extra training he became Restaurant Manager of Raveoli - Londons first Vegan Pasta Restaurant within 9 months of working there and still being just 18.
At this point Henry wanted to move on and create his own venture. Since then Chef Hampshire has hosted many vegan supper club events as well as catering weddings, parties & many more events.
Henry has also released his own product, The Chef Hampshire Vegan Cheese Kit.
Kaitlin Dowdeswell is an events manager who has worked in incredible places such as The Shard.
She is a passionate and hardworking Events Management student who is currently in second year at the University of Hertfordshire.
She has previous experience working with a startup company as well as working within the corporate world in places such as The Shard which has taught her to be a fast learner and to adapt well within different situations.
She has an incredible work ethic and is an enthusiastic member of the team.
We booked Henry as a private chef for a dinner party in our home, and he was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious - even the meat eaters were raving about how tasty it all was. He even managed to make tofu yummy and full of flavour (which is normally very hard to do!). And the strawberry-mint chocolate gyozas were divine! Henry was super professional and friendly. We would highly recommend him to anyone - he may just convert you to turn vegan!

From the first moment we contacted Henry, he was on hand to help with any questions we had. Time was short and due to the new covid regulations we had to change things around. Henry was really patient and understanding. My responses were sometimes delayed but he was always polite.
Once all the details were confirmed, Henry was more than happy to ask about any allergies, and catered for guests according to names which made things a lot easier.
We asked to have two waiters/ waitresses on the day and Henry also included the events manager in our package to do some of the decor, which helped us in the short time we had to plan. The waitresses were very professional and allowed us and guests to enjoy the day without us having to lift a finger.
We were grateful to have a vegan chef, without us having to worry if we were being given the correct ingredients in terms of meat etc.
